What is the relationship between the Black Response Cambridge and Cambridge HEART?
The Black Response (TBR) is an abolitionist research and advocacy organization program that is fiscally sponsored by Community Service Care, Inc (CSC). Initiated by Black Cambridge residents in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd, TBR has initiated, facilitated, and coordinated the participatory action research process that led to the development of the Cambridge HEART model. TBR is an advocacy organization. Part of TBR’s mission has been to advocate for the implementation of Cambridge HEART as an alternative public safety program in Cambridge.
